Awesome food. Blueberry pancakes and muffin are both really good. Not too sweet. You can taste the local wild blueberries. Lobster omelet is also delicious.

Food was ok; just basic and nothing special. Outdoor seating was nice; and so is the seating closer to the back of the restaurant. Avoid sitting towards front; it dated and dark.
The wait staff is just aweful; rude and frankly too slow to care.
Go across the street for better service! -

Marriner's was a busy little breakfast place in the heart of Downtown Camden. I ordered the cheese omelet with bacon and link sausage on the side. Usually I don't love diner style omelets but I was pleasantly surprised with this one! We were told to come here for their blueberry pancakes which my friend ordered. They were delicious! The blueberry muffin wasn't anything to write home about. Friendly staff! Get here early to sit outside on the patio, it fills up quickly!

Let me get this out of the way, service was meh. We asked to sit outside and they told us it was still wet from an overnight rain- it wasn't. When we went out back to take photos, it was plenty dry. When we pointed this out they offered to move us- which was a no, since 5 of us and all our shopping bags were already settled.
Food was fine. Portions were not overwhelming which I appreciate.
We had the lobster roll, which didn't blow anyone away.
My sister and I also split a grilled chicken sandwich, again- decent but didn't blow us away.
Two people had clam chowder and it was "fine".
"Fine" basically sums up the entire experience of this place.
Great location in Camden, beautiful outdoor dining area, but mediocre service and food dampened our experience. -

On our trip to Maine, we've chosen solid, established, local restaurants. Marriner's is a good example. Been here in downtown Camden since 1949, so they must be doing something right. We ate breakfast here ... blueberry pancakes with real Maine maple syrup... and came back for lunch. The haddock chowder was fabulous, and the lobster salad was a good alternative to the ubiquitous lobster rolls. Nice folks, warm local atmosphere, and good solid food.
